The New Home
Start a project from the home screen — describe it or pick a project type, and land in the editor with a scene already set up.
Steps
- On the Home tab, describe what you want to make in the project brief field, or attach a photo for reference.
- Tap one of the four project type chips — Room / Interior, Product Stage, Booth / Stage, or Site Study — to open a short guided setup.
- Answer the setup's tap-only questions (or skip any of them) and watch your brief compose in the live preview; tap Use Defaults on the first question to accept defaults, or touch and hold a project type chip and choose Quick Start with Defaults to skip the setup entirely.
- Finish the setup and uMake opens the editor with your starting scene, where the design assistant continues from your brief.
- To skip the guided start, open the Start Blank menu and choose 3D Design or Space for an empty canvas.
