Markup Mode
Sketch notes directly over a slide — the view stays still while you draw.
Steps
- In the slides sidebar, select a slide and tap the markup button (pencil tip icon) at the bottom.
- Draw over the slide with your finger — in markup the slide stays still, so strokes land exactly where you draw.
- Pick pens, markers, the eraser and colours from the tool picker.
- Finger drawing follows the system Draw with Finger setting in the tool picker; turn it off to draw with Apple Pencil only.
- Tap Done to save your markup, or Cancel to discard it.
- In the slides sidebar, select a slide and tap the markup button (pencil tip icon) at the bottom.
- Draw over the slide with Apple Pencil — the Pencil always draws in markup, whatever the Draw with Finger setting.
- Pick pens, markers, the eraser and colours from the tool picker.
- Tap Done to save your markup, or Cancel to discard it.
